Prior to work commencing on site, the design is created and detailed on Poolcourt drawings. The design and layout is then approved by the design team and the client.

Here are some photos taken of a project in progress and the finished project.
On Completion of a swimming pool a dye testing is done to confirm the effectiveness of water distribution. The dye used is Eriochrome Black T. The process is detailed below.
The pool water shall be perfect regarding clarity prior to testing and the pool filters must be thoroughly cleaned. The pool water will then be de-chlorinated using sodium thiosulphate. The circulation shall be switched off. The dye is then added to the pool close to the chlorine dosing point. The normal circulation rate is then resumed. The time that it takes for the pool water to become evenly coloured gives a measure of the adequacy of the distribution system. As a percentage of the turnover period: 50% is satisfactory and 25% is excellent.
Below are photos to show how this test is done and a photo of one of our filter systems.
